Personal Experience & Biography

Senior research scientist with more than 30 years of experience in reactor design, safety analysis, licensing, operation, and advanced nuclear technology development. Her work includes research and test reactors, molten salt reactor systems, isotope production, instrumentation, thermal hydraulics, and advanced heat transfer applications. She has served in technical and advisory roles with MIT, the National Academies of Sciences, the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), the International Organization for Standardization (ISO), and international reactor working groups. She currently leads MIT research reactor projects focused on HALEU fuel conversion and Reactor Simulator Digital Twin development.
