ALEX VAKULA
General Counsel
Alex Vakula is a senior attorney and legal advisor with more than four decades of experience in real estate, financing, business law, and complex investment transactions. Throughout his career, he has represented institutional and private clients in high-value acquisitions, financing structures, and development projects, bringing a disciplined and strategic legal perspective to capital-intensive ventures.
Alex is the managing member of Vakula Law Firm, PLC, where he has led legal strategy and advisory services since 2010. His work spans real property transactions, corporate structuring, and investment frameworks, with a focus on aligning legal execution with business outcomes. Earlier in his career, he began practicing law with the San Francisco-based firm Furth, Fahrner, Bluemle & Mason.
In addition to his legal practice, Alex has held numerous leadership roles across professional, civic, and advisory organizations, contributing to governance, policy, and community development initiatives throughout Arizona.
He holds a Bachelor of Science in Economics, summa cum laude, and a Juris Doctor from Arizona State University.
Served as President of the State Bar of Arizona, President of the Western States Bar Conference, and on over 40 boards, committees and commissions, including Prescott Chamber of Commerce, Arizona Community Foundation (Yavapai), Arizona State Bar Board of Governors, Arizona Supreme Court Committee on Alternative Business Structures, Granite Mountain 19 Distribution Advisory Committee and Chairman of Doug Ducey for Governor (Yavapai County).
